Challenge:

Our client reached out to leverage our recruiting expertise to hire them a full-time employee. Specializing in design, installation and maintenance of quality IT services for businesses, our client was growing its internal team of engineers. Finding themselves with the need to not only fill a niche technical position – they contacted us to find an experienced, high-level Network Operations Center (NOC) engineer, but to also find a candidate with the perfect balance of specific technical skills, certificates, and broad exposure within different environments – plus be a great culture fit.

Strategy:

The JeffreyM talent team quickly conducted technical researching to familiarize themselves with the industry and the position responsibilities and utilized targeted searches to discover and compile a pool of specialized candidates and began selective screenings and interviews. JeffreyM then delivered a slate of qualified final candidates, in which the client found one candidate that fit their overall skill and culture requirements exactly – to the point that they restructured the position to better utilize the individual’s precise skill set. JeffreyM outlined the option to onboard the candidate as Contract to Hire or Direct Placement, in which the client opt-ed to bring the candidate on as a Direct Placement, which offered the candidate immediate immersion into the company and increased job security – ideal for this position.

Impact:

Aside from both candidate and client satisfaction, this placement strengthened our relationship with our client, as they now solely rely on JeffreyM for their hiring needs. The client has been able to continue their talent expansion plan, and the candidate continues to excel in the position. Additionally, due to JeffreyM’s dedication, personal engagement and strong communication throughout the process, the client CEO felt that JeffreyM exceeded expectations and therefore recommended our talent to a group of high-level board members and company owners.
